Did you all see the Innisbrook Gift Wrap Fundraiser envelope that was sent home in your child's backpack? The good news is that you don't have to keep track of all the paper work in the packet this year. There is a website that makes selling and keeping track of items so easy.
You can go to this link: www.innisbrook.com and choose the Parent's EZ option. It will then ask you for your school number which is 106769 for Richmond/Oya No Kai. After that enter in your student's information, and you are ready to start earning money for our interns and prizes for your children.
Did you know that the goal for gift wrap drive this year is to raise $10,000 which would go directly to paying for the interns and homework club? Richmond earns 50% profit on all items sold. There are so many type of items to choose from also, there is candy and chocolates, cards and gift items, along with the traditional high quality gift wrap. If every student sells only 10 items, that $10,000 goal will be reached.
Did you also know that if you have out of town family and friends, they can order directly using your student's information? The order will then be automatically credited to your student and the items will be shipped to your out of town friends and family. This means that my dad in California can order gift wrap to support my daughter at Richmond, and I don't get stuck picking up his order and trying to get it to him before he needs that gift wrap. It's easy, and he gets to support my daughter's education in the Japanese Immersion Program.
If you do order using the paper ordering form turned into Richmond, your ordered items will arrive to be picked up at Richmond around November 23rd, which is parent/ teacher conference week. Remember also, if you turn in the paper ordering form to make the checks out to Oya No Kai. More questions about this can either be emailed to me, or you can also contact Cathy Zaerr (503-234-4316).
Don't forget that this fundraiser will end soon on October 7th, so please get your ordering done soon!
For giftwrap questions, contact Cathy Zaerr.
The gift wrap sale occurs in the fall, shortly after school has started for the year. For the 2008-2009 school year $11,000 was raised. The proceeds went to the intern fund.
However, any time during the year, you can order giftwrap on-line. Fifty (50) percent of the proceeds will come to Oya No Kai. Go to www.innisbrook.com, enter the Richmond School Number: 106769 and start shopping. Proceeds from your purchase will benefit the General Budget Fund that supports the classrooms, interns and much, much more.
