October 17, 2022: Initial information meeting

This is an introductory meeting where we’ll go over the latest updates on the trip and how you can get involved. The status of the trip depends on a lot of factors, primarily on when Japan reopens for travel. That has not happened yet, but we need to start planning now to keep the door open for a possible trip in June.

November 7, 2022: Trip Readiness (Parents only)

Mandatory meeting for at least one parent/guardian. This meeting is focused on student readiness. A representative from the travel agency has also been invited to discuss travel-related questions (including airline policies regarding extending individual trips). Other topics TBD.

November 14, 2022: Student & Parent Meeting

Mandatory meeting for students and at least one parent/guardian. This meeting is to inform students about the trip, the various destinations and give them an opportunity to talk with students who participated on the trip in previous years.

  • Time: 6:30pm
  • Location: Richmond Cafeteria
  • Note: Please bring your student(s)!

November 28, 2022: Chaperone applications due

December 1, 2022: Scholarship applications due

December 9. 2022: Forms submission opportunity

January 1, 2023: ALL FORMS AND DOCUMENTS DUE

Please use the 2023 Trip App to pay all deposits.

  • 11/11/2022 – Deposit #1 ($200)
  • 11/15/2022 – Deposit #2 ($600)
  • 12/15/2022 – Deposit #3 ($600)
  • 1/15/2023 – Deposit #4 ($600)
  • 2/15/2023 – Deposit #5 ($600)
  • 3/15/2023 – Deposit #6 ($600)
  • 4/15/2023 – Deposit #7 ($600)
  • 5/15/2023 – Deposit #8 ($300 – if necessary)
