Books for sale mid September – mid October (plus at Richmond’s Harvest Festival)

One of the most effective ways Oya No Kai supports our amazing programs is through the fall fundrasier. 50% of all sales goes directly back to Oya No Kai. We hope you will enthusiastically participate and ask your friends, family, and neighbors to join you in supporting the Japanese Immersion Program.
Chinook Book is a fabulous, home-grown discount book with more than 450 valuable coupons in both the Print Book and Mobile Coupon Pack. There are three ways to get in on the deal:
- OPTION 1 – Print Book/Mobile App – $25.
- OPTION 2 – Mobile App – $15 (packaged as a small booklet, each containing a unique code for use with free Chinook Book app)
Richmond Families – Books are also for sale Tuesday and Thursday in the breezeway before and after school.
Mt. Tabor Families –8th grade students participating will be selling books! Seek out an 8th grader to purchase a book/app and help them reach their class goal! Books will also be sold at Back to School Night.
Grant Families – Seitokai, Sapporo Summer Institute participants, and other Japanese program high school students will sell books.
Want to increase your reach?
Do you travel or have friends in Seattle, Minneapolis, Denver/Boulder or the Bay Area? We can provide books or mobile packs for them as well! Use them on your next vacation to those areas. (Books are the same price as the Portland Chinook Book.) Hand-write in on your order form which book(s) you’d like and include payment.
